For the 300,000 Virginians who served in uniform, the war was an intensely personal experience. More than 7,000 would make the ultimate sacrifice.

A Generation of Warriors, a documentary film narrated by noted journalist Roger Mudd, tells the compelling stories of some of these combat veterans. From Pearl Harbor through the climactic final battles, from the perspectives of land, sea, and air, they share the drama and emotions of this gripping period of history.
